Ingredients for Spinach Cake Recipe

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 1 glass of milk
  • 1/2 cup of olive oil
  • 2.5 cups of flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla
  • 200 grams of frozen spinach
  • 1 drop of gum mastic

Topping:

  • 2 packets of powdered whipped cream
  • 1.5 cups of cold milk

How to Make Spinach Cake?

  1. Beat the eggs and sugar together until creamy, add olive oil and keep stirring.
  2. Puree frozen spinach, drop gum and milk in food processor. Add this liquid mixture which will make the cake green color to the cake mixture.
  3. Add the sifted flour, baking powder and vanilla. Make prepared the cake dough by mixing all ingredients with a beater.
  4. Pour the cake mixture to the baking tray which is covered with baking paper and fix it with a spatula. Bake in a preheated 170 degree oven for 35-40 minutes.
