Ingredients for Honey Pumpkin Cake Recipe

For Pumpkin Puree;

  • 4 slices of pumpkin
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of walnut crushed

For Cake;

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 200 grams of butter (at room temperature)
  • 1.5 cups of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons mashed pumpkin
  • 2 eggs

After cooling the pumpkin puree, add to mixture. Otherwise it will prevent swelling.

How to Make Pumpkin Cake?

Making Pumpkin Puree;

  1. Set the oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Sliced slices of honey pumpkin onto oiled paper and bake until soft.
  3. Crush the baked and softened pumpkins with a fork.
  4. Get your squashed pumpkins into a tiny saucepan. Add sugar, cinnamon and nut and mix. Bubble for 2-3 minutes and let the mash cool.

Cake Dough Preparation;

  1. Beat the sugar and the butter until it is creamy.
  2. Add the eggs one by one and continue to beat.
  3. Sift the dry ingredients into another container.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the butter mix at 3 times. Do not whisk at this stage and mix with a wooden spoon or spatula until the dough is homogenous.
  5. Add the pumpkin mashed and mix gently.
  6. Grease and bake the cake mold. Pour the cake mortar and cook for 40-45 minutes in the oven at 165 degrees.
