Step 1: You can use any color of cardstock paper as you wish. After picking the color of the paper, start cutting the cardstock into 1/2″ by 6″ strips.

Step 2: Here I am using 12×12 paper. Please note that the cutting size of strips depends on the bigness of your cardstock. You need to adjust the strip sizes according to the vast of cardstock. For example, if you are working with 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock, you should cut your strips 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ (in half).

When the time that you completed the cutting, you can start on gluing the strips into loops.

Step 9: When you finish your flower, it’s time to add a “stem” to it by flipping it to the backside. You can use a hot glue for the sticking operation. Then glue a paper straw on the middle of the flower.
